The selection process consists of Document Scrutiny followed by an Interview.
- Document Scrutiny: RITES will scrutinise the documents submitted by candidates and determine their eligibility.
- Original Document Verification: Eligible candidates will be called for verification of their original documents.
- Deficiency in Documents: If any deficiency is found, RITES will notify the concerned candidates. Candidates must produce the required documents at the time of document verification.
- Interview: Eligible candidates will appear for the interview.
- Interview Weightage: The interview carries 100% weightage.
- Technical & Professional Proficiency: 65% weightage.
- Personality, Communication & Competency: 35% weightage.
- Minimum Interview Marks: 60% for UR/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD candidates against reserved posts.
- Candidates can appear for the selection process in Hindi or English.
- Final appointment will be subject to the candidate being found medically fit under RITES rules.
- Depending on RITES’ requirements, interviews may also be conducted from Regional Offices.
