Who is Eligible for the Bhagya Lakshmi Scheme?

To be eligible for the Bhagya Lakshmi Scheme in Karnataka, the following criteria must be met:

  • The girl child’s birth must be registered within one year of birth.
  • The girl should not be involved in child labor.
  • BPL families can access benefits for two girl children.
  • The girls must have received proper vaccinations according to the guidelines of the Health Department.
  • Eligible girls must be born into a BPL family after March 31, 2006.
  • For maturity purposes, the girl should have completed the eighth grade and should not marry before the age of 18.

  • The form must be submitted to the concerned officer, that is, the Deputy Director of Women and Child Welfare of the district or the Child Development Project Officer.

  • Make sure you fill out the form correctly with your child’s information and any other information that is needed.
