SSC CGL Recruitment 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026. Through this recruitment drive, SSC will fill various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries, Departments and Government Organisations of India. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or institution. Educational qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related subjects is required for posts such as Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II. Final-year students may also apply provided that they have achieved the required qualification by 01 August 2026.
Age Limit
The age limit is according to the post. The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age varies from 27 years to 32 years as per the post applied for. The age relaxation is applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, and other eligible categories as per the rules of the Government
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Examination Tier-I
- Tier-II Computer-Based Test
- Document Authenticity Check
- Final Merit List & Post-allotment
The selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the examinations and meeting the eligibility conditions.
