DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The DGQA Technician recruitment process will include:
- Written Examination – Candidates will first appear for a 100-mark objective written test. There is no negative marking.
- Trade Test – Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Trade Test carrying 100 marks. Candidates must secure at least 40 marks to qualify.
- Final Merit List – The final selection will be based on the prescribed merit prepared according to the trade and establishment.
- Medical Examination – Selected candidates will undergo the required medical examination before appointment.
Medical Fitness
Candidates must be in good mental and physical health and should not have any physical deformity that could interfere with the efficient discharge of duties.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a prescribed medical examination before an appointment is issued. Candidates found medically unfit will not be offered an appointment.
The notification specifically states that candidates diagnosed with night blindness or colour blindness, as determined by the prescribed medical authority, will be considered medically unfit for appointment to the post.
