Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- MBBS degree from a recognised institute recognised by the Medical Council of India.
- Valid Registration with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council
- Candidates must have finished their compulsory rotating internship.
Higher qualifications will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 60 years as of 01.06.2026.
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- OBC candidates will be given an age relaxation of 3 years.
- Retired Railway Doctors & retired Govt. Medical Doctors can apply up to the age of 65 years.

Selected candidates will be paid a monthly remuneration of ₹ 95,000 (inclusive of HRA and Transport Allowance) for full-time duties as GDMO. Other terms & benefits will be as per Railway Board guidelines.
