Objective of the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana
- This Project will provide various development trainings to millions of educated students in the state.
- The Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana will provide benefits to financially disadvantaged students.
- Under the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana, girls and differently-abled students will receive a stipend of ₹ 1,500, while boys will receive ₹ 1,000.
- This project will provide 2500 rupees to students residing in hostels.
- In this project, students are given a certificate after completing three months of training so that they can also secure employment in the future.
- Students will also be taught computer and internet skills.
Eligibility Criteria for EKlavya Prashikshan Yojana
Under the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana of the Jharkhand Government, free training for competitive exams will be provided only to those students who meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant students must be permanent residents of Jharkhand.
- Must have passed the 10th and 12th grades from any school in Jharkhand.
- The annual family income of a student should not exceed 8 lakh rupees per year, or the family should be a beneficiary under the NFSA Act.
- The applicant must meet the eligibility criteria of the competitive exam for which they are preparing.
- The benefit of the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana will be provided to only one.
- The duration of the coaching should be a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years.
