RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted through the following stages:
- 1st Stage CBT: This is a screening examination consisting of 100 questions for 100 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage based on normalized marks.
- 2nd Stage CBT: Candidates shortlisted from CBT-I will appear for the second-stage examination, which consists of 150 questions for 150 marks, including a major section on Technical Abilities.
- Document Verification: Candidates will be shortlisted for DV based on their CBT-II marks, merit, and preferences. Original certificates must be produced during verification.
- Medical Examination: Candidates must pass the prescribed medical fitness test applicable to their opted post.
- Final Empanelment: Final empanelment will be based on merit, successful document verification, and medical fitness. Railway Zone/Production Unit allotment will be made according to merit, preferences, medical standards, and available vacancies.
