Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:
- Ex-Servicemen should be enrolled within five years of the date of retirement.
- The medical category should be SHAPE-I.
- Character should be Exemplary or Very Good.
- Ex-Women Employees of the MoEF&CC and the the State Forest Department should have completed at least 20 years of service.
- Candidates should not be involved in any civil or police case.

Selection Procedure for Territorial Army 130 INF BN Recruitment 2026
The selection process is different for both categories of candidates.
For Ex-Servicemen:
- Document Verification
- Physical Fitness Test (including 1.6 km run, pull-ups, 9 ft ditch and balance test)
- Medical Examination
- Interview
For Ex-Women Employees:

- Proficiency Test related to afforestation and nursery management
- Medical Examination
