The notification includes sports such as Athletics, Cricket, Diving, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Wrestling, Weightlifting, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Handball, Kho-Kho, Powerlifting, Swimming, Volleyball, Water Polo and Ball Badminton, among others. Candidates must also meet the required sports achievement standards. Sports achievements considered for this recruitment should generally be from 1 April 2024 up to the date of notification.

Candidates waiting for their final examination results are not eligible.

Western Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: Selection Procedure
The selection process will be based on sports achievement, trial performance and educational qualification.
- Sports achievement: 50 marks
- Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observation: 40 marks
- Educational qualification: 10 marks
- Total: 100 marks
Candidates must score at least 25 out of 40 marks in the trial to move ahead. The minimum final qualifying marks are 70 for Level 5/4, 65 for Level 3/2 and 60 for Level 1. Selection will be made on merit.

- Enter the Aadhaar number or eligible Aadhaar Enrolment ID.
