Graduation (60%) or Post-Graduation (55%) (Relaxation for SC/ST/PwBD).

Selection Process
The RBI Grade B Selection Process is conducted in three stages: Phase I (Prelims), Phase II (Mains), and Interview. Phase I is purely qualifying; final merit is based on Phase II marks and Interview scores.

RBI Grade B 2026 Salary
The starting salary of an RBI Grade B is Rs. 78,450/- per month. The salary increases gradually over the years according to the fixed pay scale of ₹78,450 – 4050(9) – 1,14,900 – EB – 4050(2) – 1,23,000 – 4650(4) – 1,41,600 (16 years) and other allowances. Apart from the basic salary, employees also receive extra benefits like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, and other allowances. This makes the total salary higher than the basic pay.
